TypeCal Support

Need help with your account, subscription, a food log, or anything else in TypeCal? Email support@typegenstudio.com. Please include the device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, or sensitive health information.

Subscriptions and refunds

Apple manages TypeCal purchases. On your iPhone, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel a subscription. For refund requests, use Apple’s Report a Problem service.

Restore a purchase

Sign in with the same TypeCal account and Apple ID used for the purchase, then open TypeCal settings and choose Restore Purchases. If access is not restored, contact us and include the approximate purchase date.

Delete your account

In TypeCal, open Settings > Account > Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm the permanent deletion. You can also email us from the address connected to your account.

Connect an AI client

TypeCal OAuth MCP is a limited private beta. If your account and AI client are approved, find TypeCal in the client’s plugin or connector settings, or enter https://mcp-beta.typecal.typegenstudio.com/mcp as the remote MCP URL. The browser must open typegenstudio.com for TypeCal sign-in and consent. Review the client name, verified website, return address, identity scopes, and read-only permissions before allowing access.

After connecting, start a new chat or task and enable only the TypeCal tools for your first check. Ask for your profile and targets, then confirm the information belongs to the TypeCal account you selected.

Disconnect an AI client

When browser connections are enabled for your account, open TypeCal Connections, choose the client, and confirm Disconnect. Keep the page open until both the provider grant and TypeCal server access are revoked. Removing a connector only inside the AI client may not complete the TypeCal-side step.

Disconnecting prevents new TypeCal access after revocation completes. It does not delete information the AI provider already received; use that provider’s deletion controls for its retained prompts or responses.

MCP troubleshooting

  • If TypeCal is installed but its tools are missing, start a new chat or task and check that the TypeCal plugin or connector is enabled.
  • If browser authentication is unavailable, the private-beta OAuth gate may still be disabled for your account or client.
  • If the wrong TypeCal account appears, choose Use another account on the TypeCal consent page.
  • If disconnecting was interrupted, return to TypeCal Connections and use Finish disconnecting.
  • Never paste an access token, OAuth client secret, password, or sign-in code into a chat, website, or support message.

For MCP help, email support with the AI client name, approximate time, and visible request ID or error text. Do not include nutrition data or credentials.
